Indian corporate heads root for Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton is the presumptive Democratic nominee, ready to take on Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee. Who America votes in favour of remains to be seen, but Indian corporate heads are speaking up.

Both Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, chairman of Biocon and Padmasree Warrior, the US CEO of NextEV, re-tweeted Clinton’s tweet that said, “Don’t let anyone tell you that great things can’t happen in America.”

Anand Mahindra, managing director, Mahindra Group also shared Clinton’s tweet, saying, “1st, an African-American President and now a Woman presidential candidate. We’re indeed in a period of momentous history.” All eyes on the presidential race then.
