On Sunday evening, a mob of masked men entered JNU and wreaked havoc on the campus, attacking students and brutally injuring them. Several Bollywood personalities, the likes of Sonam Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Shabana Azmi and others voiced their anger in a series of tweets condemning the masked goons. India Inc captains, too, have come forward to condemn the cowardly attack.

Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mumbai-based business conglomerate Mahindra Group, sent out a tweet urging everyone to condemn the lawless mob that attacked the campus on Sunday evening.

“It doesn't matter what your politics are. It doesn't matter what your ideology is. It doesn't matter what your faith is. If you're an Indian, you cannot tolerate armed, lawless goons”, wrote the 64-year-old.

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson and Managing Director of Biocon,, called the act ‘unpardonable’ and shared a video of a bleeding JNU student.

Harsh Mariwala, Chairman, Marico shared on Twitter that he is ‘extremely hurt’ after hearing last evening’s news.
