In his 'unbiased' review of 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', KJo says Alia Bhatt performed every trick by 'magician' Bhansali
Johar called Bhatt "breathtaking and one of the the best actors."

While Bhatt continues to receive high praise from people across the film fraternity, she found her biggest fan in non other than film-maker Karan Johar, who took to his official Instagram handle to share his review of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
Johar called Bhatt "breathtaking and stupendous and one of the the best actors."
"To say that she is breathtaking..to say that she is stupendous... to say that she is by far one of the best actors we have or have ever had is not just stating a fact but still not saying enough about her brilliance!" Johar wrote along side a picture from the film.
The film-maker called his review "unbiased" and coming straight from his heart.
"Alia Bhatt what are you? Yes, this is unbiased and from my heart! Sanjay Bhansali is a magician and she has performed his every celluloid trick with precision and perfection!" he wrote.

"Sanjay Bhansali weaves his magic like a bonafide movie maverick and @aliaa08 is perfection! Stupendous! Beyond brilliant! And that is still not saying enough! Epic performance! #GangubaiKathiawadi is going to be a massive hit! The movies are back!!!!" Johar wrote on Twitter.
The film is based on a chapter from writer S Hussain Zaidi's book 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai' and features Bhatt as Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved and respected madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s.
'Gangubai Kathiawadi' also stars Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa and Shantanu Maheshwari.
