What is Immortal about? Plot and trailer details

The story begins around 1,000 years ago, when a tribal couple gives birth to a mysterious child. The child’s supernatural nature sets the stage for an ancient evil that continues to affect events centuries later.

The story then shifts to present-day Chennai where Magi (GV Prakash Kumar) works in a printing press. When he happens to come across a swanky apartment, he is on the lookout for a place he can afford. Sindhu (Kayadu Lohar) offers him a place to stay for unbelievably cheap rent.

With limited options, Magi accepts her offer. As he settles into the apartment, he grows closer to Sindhu and gradually falls for her. However, her unusual behaviour and the strange incidents around him leave him wondering whether she is hiding something.

Finally he discovers the true nature of Sindhu and his doubts are confirmed. She is a supernatural creature connected to the ancient evil introduced at the beginning of the film. Taking on a human appearance, she lures men into her world and feeds on them.
