I'm quite fat, says Air Asia's Tony Fernandes
In a world where body shaming is rampant, it takes guts to admit to having extra kilos. Especially if you are a global business figure.

But Air Asia boss Tony Fernandes has built himself a reputation of candidness. Early last week, his Instagram video showed him hard at a game of squash.
He was playing after "ages". And basis his caption, it's safe to assume that the game proved a bit of a wake-up call. This is what Fernandes wrote: "First time for ages. I'm pretty fat. It's really time to get serious. Was fun. This time it's got to be serious."
The seriousness carried over to lunch, that followed the game. He chose to be spartan, sticking to a plate of fresh greens. "Determined. Squash was a shock," he wrote. If he applies airline businesses' approach to extra baggage, it is likely that one shall see a lighter Fernandes pretty soon.
