I'm not angry, but I have a short fuse, says American comedian Bill Burr

Comedian and actor Bill Burr will perform in India this weekend. Ahead of the show, ETPanache decided to throw a few questions at the comedian whose work is often followed by other stand-up acts. His first time in India, Burr hopes to not "make an ass of himself".

Excerpts from the interview that we hope Yoko Ono doesn't come across:

What is your comedic take on India and Indians? Will you be moderating your more edgy material here?

I don't have a comedic take on Indians. I am more interested to hear your thoughts about England and your next door neighbours. I am not sure what is considered a taboo topic in India. I am definitely not trying to make an ass of myself.

Yoko Ono or Oprah Winfrey — who would you choose to spend a day out shopping with?

Yoko Ono, without a doubt. I'd ask her about the Beatles and I'd have her teach me how to play bongos while shopping for capes.

You had a memorable cameo on Breaking Bad — what was it like to be a part of that?

It was surreal. I was a huge fan of the show and I had watched every episode. When I got to do the show, I felt like I had got sucked into my TV.

What can we expect from your upcoming TV show?

I am hoping people will find it funny and honest. But mostly I hope they think it's funny.

Is your angry persona an act? What is riling you up the most now?

Unfortunately it isn't. I'm not angry all the time but I definitely have a short fuse. It's something I'm working on. What's bugging me now is the news acting like small events are big and big events are small.
