I'm coming home! Mercedes Benz India CEO Roland Folger, heads to Germany every Christmas

The spirit of Christmas is incomplete without family and that’s why Mercedes Benz India CEO Roland Folger is always back home in Germany this time around, no matter where he is. For Folger, seeing his parents is Christmas tradition. “I always go to see my parents this time of the year. My mother is 82 and my father is 86. Whenever I say farewell to them, they look at me as though it may be the last time, which it very well could be,” Folger told ETPanache.

It’s double the celebration for the Folgers too as the CEO’s mother celebrates her birthday on December 16. “It all works out perfectly...It’s like our version of Diwali back home,” Folger added, with a laugh.
