In the days leading up to the release, the OTTplay report and film's opening card scenes clarified the film’s digital plans. Ikkis has partnered with Amazon Prime Video for its OTT premiere. After completing its theatrical run, the film will first be reportedly available on the Prime Video Store for rent from March 12, 2026. It will then become accessible to all Prime Video subscribers at no extra cost starting March 26, 2026, in line with the industry’s usual eight-week theatrical window.
Originally, Ikkis was slated to hit cinemas in late December 2025. However, the makers decided to push the release to New Year’s Day to avoid a crowded box office. Producer Dinesh Vijan had explained that the shift was a strategic choice, meant to give Ikkis more breathing space and allow it to find its audience without being overshadowed by larger commercial releases.
