More about Ikkis

Ikkis revolves around the story of the short but brave life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal (played by Agastya Nanda), the youngest soldier to receive the Param Vir Chakra. The film focuses on the Battle of Basantar during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, where Arun laid down his life in the line of duty.

Alongside this, the story also follows his father, Brigadier Madan Lal Khetarpal (played by Dharmendra), who travels to Pakistan three decades after his son’s sacrifice. Jaideep Ahlawat plays Brigadier Jaan Mohammad Nisar. The film also holds a special place as it marks the final on-screen appearance of veterans Dharmendra and Asrani.
