IITian-CEO's Pune trip was nostalgic and a fun reunion with old friends. Except for one thing!
Harsh Pokharna, an IITian and CEO, recently revisited Pune and reconnected with his college dramatics club friends. Staying with Priyank, Jaishri, and Rohit, he relived youthful bonds and witnessed their entrepreneurial pursuits. Despite a missed ...

Harsh stayed with Priyank, Jaishri, and Rohit, friends he had shared countless plays and competitions with during college. Despite years of life taking them in different directions, stepping into their home felt like pressing play after a long pause. Today, Jaishri and Rohit are married, while Rohit and Priyank are building a startup. Observing their marketing discussions was like reliving the dramatics club—only scripts were replaced by pitch decks.
One evening, Harsh joined a photoshoot for one of Priyank’s projects. It was his first time modelling, and he quickly realised he had two poses: awkward and very awkward. Amid the fun, he had hoped to meet another close friend, but that didn’t happen. He redirected his energy into card games—though luck wasn’t on his side there either.
Pune trip's flaw
Despite the few misses, Harsh described the experience as a dream fulfilled: living with friends in a new city and reliving the camaraderie of college days. He rated the trip a perfect five stars, with one tiny deduction—he wasn’t allowed to pay for anything, a minor flaw in an otherwise unforgettable reunion. The Economic Times Business News App for the Latest News in Business, Sensex, Stock Market Updates & More.
