iBall unveils Andi Avonte 5 smartphone with a rotatable camera for Rs 5,999

Mumbai-headquartered tech firm iBall has added a new smartphone to its line-up of the Andi-series, dubbed 'iBall Andi Avonte5'. What is unique about this smartphone, which comes with a price tag of Rs 5,999, is its 180-degree rotatable 8-megapixel auto focus camera with dual-LED flash. The Andi Avonte5 could be used both as a selfie shooter and also for video recording.

The smartphone carries 5-inch touch screen display. Besides, the phone has 1GB of RAM for multitasking and downloading apps and games along with 8GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB on micro SD card.

Motored by Android KitKat 4.4, the Andi Avonte5 offers a 2150mAh battery to meet the ever increasing need of power for the Indian consumers on the move. The device also offers read and write support for 21 regional languages and system language support for nine regional languages.

On the connectivity front, the Andi Avonte5 is a dual SIM-supporting dev ice with 3G. It allows users to access a high speed 3G HSPA+ downlink of 21Mbps and uplink of 5.7Mbps, thus keeping them connected and entertained wherever they go. Connectivity options also include USB tethering, USB internet, WiFi, Bluetooth and FM capabilities. In addition to these features, the device, which also bundles a free protective cover, comes along with 3D user interface and Chambered Stereo speakers.
