IAS officer Tina Dabi treats followers with a pic of her toddler

IAS officer Tina Dabi, who became a mom for the first time in September, recently shared a glimpse of her newborn baby boy with her followers.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Dabi dropped a picture of her sister’s husband, who is seen holding the infant along with the caption, “Happy birthday, Mausaji!”

Dabi’s younger sister Ria is also an IAS officer in the Rajasthan cadre and she is married to fellow IAS official Manish Kumar. Kumar celebrated his birthday on October 2.


Dabi, who also married another IAS officer Pradeep Gawande in April 2022, welcomed her first child on September 15, this year.

Earlier, the news of her pregnancy was shared by her sister Ria. Taking to Instagram, Ria shared a picture of the couple and wrote, "Love, light and laughter.... Tina;s baby shower!" The picture went viral on the picture and video sharing platform, gaining more than 157K likes. Several netizens flooded the comment section to gish about the then would-be-mama. "Fifth IAS coming soon," wrote an Instagram user. "Cutest mommy to be," wrote another.

Dabi is the 65th Dabi is currently the 65th District Collector and Magistrate of Rajasthan's Jaisalmer district.

She rose to fame when when she became the first Dalit (a marginalised caste ) woman to rank first in the prestigious civil services examination in 2015.

Before tying the knot with Gawande, Dabi was married to Athar Aamir Khan, another IAS officer. However, the two parted ways in 2021.
