‘I was shaking’: Sonam Kapoor has a traumatising experience with Uber London, shares ordeal on Twitter
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor sent out a tweet to her 12.8 million followers, sharing that she had the ‘scariest experience’ with Uber London. The rather alarming tweet was sent out early Thursday morning. ‘I’m super shaken’, the actress wrote on the microblogging site.

Columnist Priya Mulji was concerned about the well-being of the 'Neerja' actress. Mulji replied to Kapoor’s tweet, asking her what had happened. “As someone who takes cabs in London, it would be good to know!”, wrote Mulji.

Kapoor replied to the tweet, sharing with her fans that her ‘driver was unstable and was yelling and shouting.’


Uber’s social media team took notice and promptly replied to Kapoor's tweet, asking her to DM her mobile and address.

The 34-year-old actress replied to Uber, calling them out for getting ‘multiple disconnect replies by bots’.

The Uber incident comes a week after Ahuja criticised British Airways for allegedly losing her luggage for the second time this month.

In 2017, the motor company apologised to its employees for sexual harassment at two of its Chicago plants. In an open letter, CEO Jim Hackett wrote, “I am sorry for any instance where a colleague was subjected to harassment or discriminatory conduct. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had filed a class-action lawsuit alleging male employees at some of the restaurants had been sexually harassing female co-workers since at least 2006. One woman quit and two other women were fired after they complained repeatedly about their co-workers’ behaviour.
