The actress said that she plans to return to Mumbai when the international flights resume.
The world is struggling to come to grip with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and Bollywood star Sunny Leone is no exception. Sunny, along with her husband Daniel Weber, their children Noah, Asher and Nisha, took a flight back to Los Angeles in May, which is the 39-year-old actress’s second home.
Sunny opened up about her move to LA in an interview with the Times of India and revealed that she was ‘sad to leave Mumbai’. "Personally, I was sad to leave Mumbai, and trust me, I didn’t want to leave, which is why it took us so long to decide to come here,” said the ‘Ragini MMS 2’ star.
The starlet added that it was important for her to be around Daniel’s mother and family. “Like everyone else, they wanted to be with their loved ones,” Sunny said.
Talking about her return to India, the actress said that she plans to return to Mumbai when the international flights resume. “As soon we can fly back, we will. We want to be on the next flight to India,” she added.
Sunny also shared how she celebrated her birthday amid the lockdown. “It was simple; the kids got me a cake, some flowers and balloons. That’s it!” said the star.
