I own an Audi A8 W12, the VW Phaeton, Mercedes Benz 600 and I recently bought a Tesla P85D, says Lyngdorf.

Luxury and me

Luxury to me is a level of quality that you don't need but you yearn for. It's something that gives you pleasure. In my 20s, it was cars, in my 30s, it was planes (I've owned five planes in my lifetime). Today, it's more arts and music. Music, art and travelling — in that order.

Go-to apps and gadgets

I'm not an iOS or Android fan, I use a Windows phone, because it takes hard knocks better. And when it comes to gadgets, I love mountain bikes (I own two), cameras (I own two DSLRs), and the iPad. But I never quite understood motorcycles as a gadget — I think they're dangerous.

I splurge on cars. I own an Audi A8 W12 and the VW Phaeton and Mercedes Benz 600 are cars I've owned before. I also just bought a Tesla P85D for my wife, though I'm using this one a lot.

India impressions and other adventures

I am an avid traveller and I'm out of Denmark half the time. I once had an engine failure in my single engine plane, over the ocean, in Denmark, and the experience of having to make an emergency landing and gliding down on an airstrip has to be my biggest adventure to date. This is my third time in India though. I think generally, the style quotients in India's big cities are high, colourful, and more vibrant than Western countries.

Boss demands

The one quality I expect from my employees is enthusiasm. As a boss, I'm hyper, but I let my guys do their work, I don't interfere. I'm furious if anyone is not delivering the best possible service to our clients though.

Demanding clients

I've had many tight deadlines to adhere to. I once had an order to complete an installation in four days in Singapore and another time a client heard the Model D in Dubai and called out of the blue to request it installed NOW!

Celebrity connection

I loved working with Mark Knopfler, because he simply loves good sound and with Michelle Yeoh because she's so much herself, no airs, and no pretence.

Most expensive recent buys

The Audi and the Tesla, and a $15,000 mountain bike.
