I see no reason to change the quality of food & service at deGustibus: CEO Anurag Katiar

Word is that Anurag Katiar, CEO de-Gustibus hospitality, is finding talk about the falling quality of food and service at deGustibus restaurants unpalatable. He says, "I see no reason for it to have changed. Rahul Akerkar leaving would have a physiological dent but in terms of production, it is the same. We are investing in a lot of areas and we are very focused on service."

Final founding member, Rishad Nathani's departure also happened months ago, says Katiar, revealing, "He quit a few weeks before the investment from India Value Fund Advisors came through. He sold out his share, which was quite small, to another investor — the Oberoi family. Since then they have also disinvested and they had a considerably larger share."
