I, Nobody OTT Release Date confirmed: When and where to watch the Prithviraj Sukumaran starer Malayalam thriller

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam thriller I, Nobody is now heading to OTT after its theatrical release earlier this year. The film, which opened in cinemas on July 9, 2026, will be available for streaming later this month. JioHotstar has confirmed the digital release date, giving viewers who missed the film in theatres a chance to watch it from home.

I, Nobody OTT release date and platform

I, Nobody will start streaming on JioHotstar from August 25, 2026. The streaming platform announced the date on Sunday through its social media handles.

The film had its theatrical release on July 9 and received mixed reactions from both critics and audiences. It also did not manage to make the expected impact at the box office. According to Sacnilk, the movie earned around Rs 15.37 crore worldwide, including an India net collection of Rs 8.71 crore and overseas earnings of Rs 5.30 crore.


The OTT release could now give the film a second opportunity to reach audiences, particularly those who did not catch it during its theatrical run.

What is I, Nobody about?

Directed by Nisam Basheer, I, Nobody follows Rajeevan, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. He is a government employee who leads a fairly predictable life until he accidentally becomes a witness to a bank robbery.

That one incident changes things for Rajeevan and his family. He gets pulled into a dangerous chain of events and finds himself dealing with people and situations far removed from his regular life. Things become more difficult when his account of what happened is not easily accepted by the system.


The film therefore uses the familiar idea of an ordinary person getting caught in an extraordinary situation, while also looking at how the incident affects his family and his attempt to prove what he has seen.

Cast and crew of I, Nobody

Alongside Prithviraj, the film features Parvathy Thiruvothu and Hakkim Shajahan in important roles. Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, Nandhu, Madhupal and Shankar Ramakrishnan are also part of the cast, along with several other actors.

I, Nobody brings director Nisam Basheer and writer Sameer Abdul together again after their earlier collaboration Rorschach, which starred Mammootty.

The movie has been produced by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R Mehta and C V Sarathi under Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment, with Prithviraj Sukumaran also serving as a co-producer.

Dinesh Purushothaman is the cinematographer, while Ramees MB handled the editing. Jakes Bejoy composed the music. The action portions were choreographed by Yannick Ben, Kalai Kingson and Amith Jolly Bastin.
