‘I led him once, now he leads me.' Big B’s bday post for son Abhishek is a throwback pic; B-town pals wish ‘gentleman’ star

NEW DELHI: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan on Friday couldn't help but reminisce how time has changed as he wished his son Abhishek on his birthday. The Big B, as he is popularly known, took to Instagram to share a collage of two pictures: One from the past and a recent capture, as he highlighted how once he led his son and now, it's his son who is leading him.

Wishing Abhishek on his 45th birthday, the 'Shahenshah' of Bollywood shared a throwback picture with the caption: "I lead him once holding his hand .. he leads me now holding my hand."

The ‘Pink’ star has often shared glimpses from the past with his fans on Twitter and Instagram and this picture surely comes as a warm reminder to everyone of just how things have changed over the years, which the Big B himself realises, going by the heartwarming post.

Jr Bachchan's niece Navya Naveli Nanda wasn't far behind in wishing the ‘Dostana’ actor. Nanda shared an old picture, which we assume was taken at a Chelsea match. “You may just be my favourite family member,” the 24-year-old wrote. The comment section also saw some friendly banter between Jr Bachchan’s niece and his best friend Sikander Kher. Sounding like a millennial, Kher commented: "He should 'totes' be your best fam jam... he wins hands down." To which Nanda replied, "Ya, he does for sure."

Bollywood celebrities such as Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Farah Khan Kunder and more took to social media to shower the birthday boy with wishes. “Wish you the very best today & always,” Devgn wrote. Jr Bachchan was quick to thank the star for all that he does and means to the ‘Guru’ actor.




“Talented, kind-hearted, and a gentleman,” The ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ star Madhuri Dixit Nene wrote on Twitter for Abhishek Bachchan.
