I have not faced any cash crunch and have not been affected by the move: Akshay Kumar on demonetisation
He stopped short when it came to making a comment on the government’s daredevilry with its demonetisation decree.

At a recent event for the launch of a pick-up truck, when asked which among his cars is the most expensive, Kumar said, "With all this demonetisation, I would not like to comment on it." He was quick to add in the same breath, "I have not faced any cash crunch and have not been affected by the move as all my money is in the right places."
With talk of demonetisation and its impact off the table, Akshay’s response to his scariest stunt bears recounting. "I was shooting a stunt for Sapoot (a 1996 film), where I had to take a car in front of a moving truck. The precision was perfect and all went well, but I swore never to do something like this ever again," he said.
Fortune, Kumar would know, does favour the brave. Facing up to impediments caused by demonetisation, however, requires an altogether different kind of steeliness.
