I got tanned because of golf, says Mercedes Benz India's head Eberhard Kern

It's been only three years since Eberhard Kern, head of Mercedes Benz India, got interested in golf. Not much later, he got a golfing companion. His wife Ulrike joined the club (pun intended).

While Kern confesses that his wife has a lesser handicap than him at the sport, the two are regular golfers in Pune. They play every Sunday and it is apparent. During an interaction over lunch, Kern showed ET Panache his tanned hands. You would think that was a result of sunning during a beach vacation, but the tan really is from his regular golf Sundays.

On a closer look, you catch that his right hand is more tanned than the left. "It's because of my golf posture," says Kern, with a wide smile.
