People have always wondered where the good in a goodbye was as it's never easy to bid adieu. A flight attendant recently went through a similar feeling when she had to say goodbye to her team and company on her last day at work.

In a video that has now gone viral, a teary-eyed IndiGo flight attendant named Surabhi Nair breaks down as she delivers an emotional farewell speech mid-air during her last flight with the company as an air hostess.

"I don't want to go but I have to go," the air hostess says as she thanks everyone on-board for choosing the airline and ensuring that all employees get paid.

"Thank you, each one of you who flies with us. Because of you we get our salaries on time, or before time ... just like our flights," Nair says, smiling at the passengers as she delivers her farewell speech.

With tears in her eyes, Nair thanked IndiGo for taking care of their employees, adding that she never thought she'd have to leave the company one day.

"I never thought this day would come ... it's like a piece of my heart ... I don't know what to say ..." Nair said in a shaky voice.
