Celina Jaitly remembers late son Shamsher
In her post, Celina spoke about a deeply personal wish connected to her son. She said that when her life eventually comes to its natural end, she wants, "I be cremated in my homeland, India, & my ashes be laid to rest with my son, Shamsher, in Austria. A mother's wish to be close to the child she could not hold for long enough"Celina's post came on the birthday of Shamsher and his twin brother Arthu. Shamsher died shortly after his birth in 2017. Remembering him years later, the actor wrote about the bond she continues to feel with her son despite having had very little time with him.
Celina also explained why she had recorded the video during her Austria visit in April. She said she was unsure when she would next be able to return and wanted to create something she could keep with her until that happened.
She further added, "I have seen the longing for you in Arthu’s eyes & heard it in his words. I believe you watch over him. And somehow, through everything, I feel you watching over me too. Amid the uncertainty of our family’s ongoing proceedings, I do not know when I will be able to return to sit beside you. Even this small wish feels painfully out of reach."
Celina's message also carried a reassurance for her children. She said her love for them does not depend on anything they do and that she remains their mother regardless of the circumstances surrounding the family.
