I am an Android loyalist, says Raymond's Gaurav Mahajan

Gaurav Mahajan's (President, Apparel, Raymond Limited) choices are offbeat — from a Clint Eastwood war chronicle to a book about history’s greatest geniuses.

-Music: I am a percussionist and collect percussion music and instruments from across the world. Right now I am obsessing over the Cajón, a versatile and fuss-free afro-peruvian instrument.

-Movie: I love 'Flags of our fathers' and 'Letters from Iwo Jima'. Both films show that there are two sides to every story and that war is a tragic exercise in futility.

-Book: E=MC2 is a fascinating book. It’s about how Einstein’s theory is a culmination of the work of generations of obsessive geniuses like Leonardo da Vinci, Voltaire and Fermi.

-Phone: I am an Android loyalist. Its open and all embracing philosophy resonates with me. As far as apps go, I am hooked to Swypekeys.

-Holiday: I recommend safaris in the Masai Mara. My most memorable holiday was ' Tanzania under canvas’, a tented camp that moved with the migration. I am looking forward to visiting another camp called 'Angama Mara' next year.
