I love to relax to Hindi music on Vividh Bharti and All India Radio. It helps me de-compress when I come home from the pressure cooker that is the office.

I am not brand conscious, but I do love Brooks Brothers apparel and Ecco shoes. I'm also a big fan of Breitling watches.

Movies

Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Angoor. It's a hilarious Shakespearean comedy with an Indian touch. It proves that you don't need a big budget to get great results.

Holiday spot

On my 25th wedding anniversary, I travelled with my family to Hatton, Sri Lanka, where we vacationed in a bungalow on a tea estate. It was a wonderful getaway.

Books

Night Without End by Alistair Maclean is my favourite book. It is about an expedition to the Arctic circle that goes horribly wrong and how the team survives against all odds.

Restaurant

I am a vegetarian of North Indian origin, but when it comes to food, I am a South Indian at heart. For me, the taste of home can be found at banana leaf.
