Kicking off in 2014, the Ice Bucket Challenge sought to raise awareness of ALS and collect donations to further ALS research and services.

The 46-year-old "The Wolverine" star took to Twitter and posted a video where he is seen sitting in a bathtub while wearing a white dress shirt and black bow-tie.
He exclaims "bring it on" before pouring a bucket of ice water over his head, reported Entertainment Weekly.

— Hugh Jackman (@RealHughJackman) September 5, 2015 Kicking off in 2014, the Ice Bucket Challenge sought to raise awareness of ALS and collect donations to further ALS research and services.
Nominated participants had the option of donating to the ALS Association or douse themselves with buckets of ice water. They would then nominate three people to take up the cause.
Last year too, Jackman, accompanied by the cast and crew of "Pan" took up the cause and had posted a video showing them getting icy from the set.
