HP has introduced more than 20 new products and solutions in India across PCs, workplace collaboration, printing, and enterprise computing, reflecting the company’s broader push toward AI-enabled and hybrid work technologies.

The announcement includes HP’s entry into two new device categories in India: the HP OmniPad 12 tablet and the HP EliteBoard G1a, which the company describes as the world’s first AI keyboard PC designed for collaborative workspaces.

According to HP India Managing Director Ipsita Dasgupta, the launch is aimed at addressing varying levels of technology adoption across India, from students and first-time users to enterprises modernizing workplace infrastructure.

HP Introduces OmniPad 12 and EliteBoard G1a

The new HP OmniPad 12 marks HP’s expansion into Android-based personal computing devices. Positioned between a traditional PC and a tablet, the device features a detachable keyboard and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. HP says the product is targeted at students, MSMEs, and first-time PC users seeking portability and productivity in a single device.

The company claims the OmniPad 12 can deliver up to 18 hours of battery life and is designed for touch-first usage while retaining PC-style functionality through its keyboard attachment.

HP also unveiled the HP EliteBoard G1a, a compact AI-powered keyboard PC intended for hybrid offices and collaborative environments. Powered by AMD processors with dedicated AI acceleration capabilities, the system integrates computing hardware directly into a keyboard form factor, reducing the need for separate desktop setups.
