How to store winter shoes during summer

While making room for your summer sandals in your closet, make sure you store your winter boots well, so that they stay as good as new when you bring them out next season.

Repair: Make all repairs to damaged shoes and put deodorizers in each shoe to keep them fresh.

Storage: Always use a shoe tree or stuff your shoes with newspapers so they hold their shape. Avoid shoe racks and other open storage, because your shoes might pick up more dirt during the off season.
