How to fit twice as much music onto your iPhone
You’ve probably encountered the iPhone’s storage problem when trying to store hundreds of photos, apps and songs in there. But, there is a way to fit much more music on it:

1. Look at the music in your iTunes library. You'll probably find that your albums are all different file sizes. Right-click on a song, and head to the <> tab.

2. In the <> tab, you'll see the file size of the song. The <> tells you how much space is taken up per second of the song. If the song is 320 kbps, it is the maximum bit rate.

3. You'll probably find several different bit rates in your iTunes library. iTunes purchases are 256 kbps, while CD imports can be up to 320 kbps.

4. If you're using cheap earphones or listening to music on the train or in loud places, then you probably won't be able to hear the improvement in 320 kpbs music.

5. Make sure the music on your iPhone is only taking as much storage as it needs to: Plug your iPhone into your computer, and go to the device panel on iTunes.

6. Check out the <> on the device screen. You'll see an option to convert your music.

7. Select the conversion option, and you'll be asked which bit rate to choose. The lower the number, the less space it takes up.

8. Hit the sync button, and your music will start converting while being sent to your phone.
