Not many people consider stock trading a full-time profession. The volatile nature of the market and the inherent risks involved make people wary.

However, this hesitation stems from inadequate knowledge, lack of strategy and confidence. More than anything, what a good stock trader needs is to ride the lows with equanimity and know that losses and adversity are in-built into the nature of this profession.

With more than a decade in this trade now, Vishal and Meghana Malkan have bucked these generalisations.

The couple decided to help people get over their unfounded fears and apprehensions about taking up stock trading as a full-time occupation, and set up a training institute, Malkansview.
