Lionel Messi demonstrated why he’s the highest paid footballer in the world on a Japanese TV show recently. The Argentinean star kicked a football 18 metres high over a crane, trapped it, and kicked it over the crane again. It would be a neat trick to liven a party up. Here are some other skills celebrities possess that could keep guests awed and entertained:

Katrina Kaif

Kat went through months of acrobatic training for her sizzling song ‘Kamli’ in Dhoom 3. The results showed at the box office.

She stole the show at the MTV Video Music Awards 2009 with her circus-style swinging performance. It received such praise that she repeated the act at the 2010 Grammy awards.



Neil Patrick Harris

Like his character in How I Met Your Mother, Harris is a fan of magic. And as the President of the Board of Directors of Hollywood’s Magic Castle, you can be assured he has a few tricks up his sleeve.



Angelina Jolie

Jolie learnt to throw knives for her Tomb Raider series and it has since become a hobby. She is known to fl ick a blade or two when she is angry. But it would also make for a great party item.

The former James Bond is a fire eater, which he learnt as a teenager while attending a rehearsal at Ovalhouse (theatre). He was spotted by a circus agent and hired for three years.



Chris Martin

In Coldplay’s ‘Paradise’ video, Martin is dressed in a plush elephant costume, riding a unicycle in South Africa with aplomb. The rest of the band later join him (not on unicycles) in full elephant regalia.



Tiger Shroff

India’s answer (belated) to Jackie Chan, the Heropanti star is trained in martial arts, kickboxing and gymnastics. The fittest star-kid in B’town, Shroff has a black belt in Taekwondo.
