In the intense competition, Bhaker and Singh scored a combined total of 580 points with 20 perfect shots. They triumphed over the Korean pair of Xue Li and Wonho Lee with a score of 16-8 in the bronze medal match. The Korean team finished just behind with 579 points and 18 perfect shots.
This victory was especially notable for Singh, marking his first Olympic medal. Bhaker also made history as the first Indian to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games, having already secured a bronze in the women's 10m Air Pistol event.
