A few hours after Gautam Singhania announced on social media that he and his wife Nawaz Modi Singhania were separating, the latter posted a video of celebrating Diwali puja with her in-laws.
Nawaz took to Instagram - where she has 241K followers on her handle Nawazbodyartmumbai - and shared a video in which she thanked her in-laws "for their unstinted support, love, kindness & help, at these & all times."
In the video, the 53-year-old Nawaz is seen sitting on a sofa and participating in a puja with a few other unidentified family members. Later she is seen circling around the holy fire with the help of a walking stick.

On Monday afternoon, the Chairman and Managing Director of the Raymond Group announced via social media that they have decided to pursue different paths.
"This Diwali is not going to be the same as many in the past. 32 years of being together as a couple, growing as parents and always being a source of strength to each other...we traversed with Commitment, resolve, faith as along came the two most beautiful additions of our lives," Singhania wrote in a long post.
Mumbai's celebrity couple married in 1999 and have two daughters — Niharika and Nisa.
Singhania, in his statement, said that while they are parting ways, they will continue to "do what is the best" for their daughters.
