There are many apps and games with the same name on both the app stores — first step is to get to the right one, made by developers Sweet Gaming. Once you're past that initial hurdle, this is one of those games that is as frustrating as it is addictive.


Hopper is a 3D platformer with great visuals and music. Your job is to guide the ball through the path, avoid the obstacles, collect rings/gems and bounce precisely onto the moving platforms that appear in front of you. You can control the left-right movement (even when the ball is in the air) while forward movement happens automatically.

To keep things interesting, there are four different worlds, different balls to collect and 40 levels in all. You can play a little for free but beyond that, you will need to watch ads to play premium levels. You can also buy more rings/gems and level packs with in-app purchases. Try it out for a bit of unputdownable fun.
