Hollywood star Danny DeVito applauds SS Rajamouli's 'RRR', calls historical drama 'great'

The craze over SS Rajamouli's megahit film 'RRR' doesn't seem to be dying down anything soon. After mesmerising masses and several biggies across the world, the film has found another fan in Hollywood veteran Danny DeVito, who is all praise for 'RRR'.

Apparently, the Hollywood star is a big Bollywood fan and has promised to add a desi song in the next season of his animated show, 'Little Demon', where he is voicing the character of Satan.

“I love Bollywood big time. In fact, as a matter of fact, a few days back, I watched RRR and another one R… Rajkumar. It was really good! I think if I had my way next season or whenever I could talk everybody into it, we should definitely bust into a big number," DeVito told India Today in an interview.


The 77-year-old, who is widely known for films such as 'Taxi', 'Junior', 'The Rainmaker' and more, said that he loves how Indian films keep up the story even through songs in romantic dramas.

“If it’s a love story, then the two romantic leads will be seen going at it. Like in RRR, it’s about the battles between everybody but they keep up the story even in the singing. And I love that aspect of it. I think it’s great,” he added.

Previously, big film-makers such as the Russo Brothers, James Gunn and Scott Derrickson have also applauded the historical drama which stars Ram Charan and NTR Jr in lead roles. 'RRR' also features Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.
