What kept Hina Khan busy before Cannes: Winning an award at UKAFF, exploring London streets & a celebratory dinner

Hours before making her dazzling red carpet arrival at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, actress Hina Khan wrapped up a busy schedule in London.

The 'Bigg Boss' 11 runner-up won the 'Trailblazer of The Year' award for her movie 'Lines' at the UK Asian Film Festival, held in London on Sunday. "I thank everyone for bestowing this international award and so much love and honour," she tweeted.



The actress opted for a modern ivory outfit by designer Tarun Tahiliani with an ethnic twist. She paired her sheer and embellished corset with a pleated skirt, and a drape. She also shared a series of pictures in the outfit, which is reportedly worth Rs 1.5 lakh.

The 34-year-old was accompanied by producer-boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal to the awards night.

Soon after, the 'Lines' team headed to Oblix Restaurant in London for a celebratory dinner with champagne. Later, she also shared images of her exploring the London streets.

After a packed day, the actress shared an image of her ticket and a picture from Nice in France. Nice is barely 35 kilometre-away from the convention centre in Cannes where the Palais des Festivals is taking place.

On Saturday, Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport leaving for the Cannes Film Festival, dressed in a lavender-coloured jumper and matching trousers.

She elevated her airport look with triangle-framed tinted sunglasses, rings, and white lace-up sneakers in silver, orange and black accents, perfectly blending comfort with style.

Three years after her debut, Khan is all set to walk the Cannes red carpet again. She will unveil the poster of her upcoming film 'Country of Blind' at the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

This year's Cannes Film Festival will take place between May 17 and May 28 and the organisers will be removing COVID-19 curbs ahead of its 75th edition. They won't be testing attendees, as they did last year, and will not institute a mask mandate.
