Hina Khan reveals she has resumed work amid battle with breast cancer

TV star Hina Khan has resumed work despite facing innumerable health challenges. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, took to social media to announce that she has resumed work.

Sharing a video of herself getting ready for a photoshoot, she wrote on Instagram, “My first work assignment after my diagnosis. Walking the talk is challenging, especially when facing life’s biggest challenges. So, give yourself a break on bad days; it’s okay… you deserve it. However, don’t forget to live your life on the good days, no matter how few they are. These days still hold importance. Accept the change, embrace the difference, and NORMALISE it.”

Khan added that aside from stimulating her, work also lets her live her dreams. “ I want to keep working. Many people work regular jobs during their treatment without issues, and I am no different. I met a few in these months and trust me it changed my perspective…” she reflected. She also reminded her fans that although she is in the thick of medical treatments, she is not at the hospital all the time.


The actress ended her note by urging breast cancer survivors to prioritise their well-being and take refuge in their work and see it as a means of healing themselves. “. Don’t give up and find what you love doing. Your work, your passion—if you don’t know what it is, invent it. But remember to give yourself the healing you deserve. Coz doing what you love is also Healing…” she wrote.

In the video, the ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ star looked chic in a pristine white shirt and a fringe cut. The video has gone viral on Instagram, gaining more than 500K likes.
