Hilarious earthquake memes trend on Twitter after strong tremors jolt North India
While Afghanistan took the brunt of the earthquake, India too experienced some aftershocks.

The hashtag #earthquake started trending on the popular microblogging platform Twitter on Tuesday (March 21) night. About 10K tweets were generated under this hashtag.

The authorities at the USGS also revealed that the epicentre of the earthquake was found in the town of Jurm, located in the southeast corner of Afghanistan, close to the borders of Pakistan and Tajikistan.
The depth of the earthquake was nearly 156 km, according to National Center for Seismology. "Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.6, Occurred on 21-03-2023, 22:17:27 IST, Lat: 36.09 and Long: 71.35, Depth: 156 Km, Location: 133km SSE of Fayzabad, Afghanistan," the National Center for Seismology revealed in a tweet.
