Hike Messenger's Kavin Mittal says, it is hard to go back when you realise you can change the world
Here's what inspired the entrepreneur to start his own business instead of joining his father Sunil Bharti Mittal's.

Here's what inspired him:
“In 2007, during my second year at Imperial College, London, I ended up interning at the Google office in the US. iPhone 1 had just launched at the time and I picked up one in the US. If you remember, the iPhone then didn’t have an app store. A lot of people in Google were all building apps that you could see only on the app store. I used to code a bit. When Apple launched the app store in 2008, I called a friend and said, ‘We have to do something’. We had eight fantastic ideas and we decided we will execute one idea every month for the next eight months. So, we chose the most complicated idea, which took us eight months to build. It was called Movies Now, the first-ever movie ticket booking app for iPhone. I was just a 20-year-old kid, who had paid $100 to Apple for the SDK (Software Development Access). We didn’t need any funding. When you realise how you can change the world, it’s very hard to go back.”
