Heritage on his mind! Honda India CEO Gaku Nakanishi can't wait to explore his new home

It’s only been a couple of months since Honda India CEO Gaku Nakanishi crossed over the Bay of Bengal from Bangkok to Mumbai to head the auto company here, but that hasn’t stopped him from making travel plans already.

The Japanese executive, understandably so, can’t wait to step out of his office-hotel-airport routine to explore his new home.

“It has been an exciting 45 days here and every day I feel the passion and energy from this country and its people. My wife however is even more excited than me,” Nakanishi said with a laugh, explaining that his wife is a heritage buff.

“She told me that I did a ‘good job’ by getting posted in India.”
