BENGALURU: The name of Bengaluru band Best Kept Secret will be taken in the same breath as Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan and Sania Mirza now. The music band has been signed on by the same celebrity and artist management company, Kwan, which handles the marketing for the aforementioned personalities.
Frontman Behram Siganporia confirmed the news to The Economic Times on Tuesday, saying, “As the number of our shows and travelling increased, we could not multi-task and manage our own marketing anymore. We want to focus on our music now.”
The lead singer said that the band wanted to collaborate with Kwan since they work in a similar space as Bollywood. “The management company comes with the expertise as they work with Bollywood stars who are always in the public eye. They will thus be able to envision for us and take our music to the masses,” said Siganporia.
The four-member band is making a mark on the international music scene. The members recently returned from their maiden performance in Germany after their songs ‘Can’t Let You Go’ and ‘Moving On’ got frequent requests on the country’s radio stations. The ten-day tour saw the band perform at the Band Lift music festival besides collaborating with German artistes.

Avinash Bidaia, partner at Kwan Entertainment, said, “It was a conscious decision to have the band on our roster as they are making waves in the independent music scene with its electro-pop funk sounds. We will help put them on the map of pop culture.”
Currently, Best Kept Secret is working on an album and exploring shows in Africa, America and the Middle-East this year.
