Here's what connects Snapdeal's Kunal Bahl and CEAT's Anant Goenka

Industries and backgrounds of Kunal Bahl, co-founder and CEO of Snapdeal, and Anant Goenka, MD of CEAT, define disparate. One deals with the traditional industry of tyre manufacturing, the other is the pin up boy of the ecommerce startup space.

Goenka belongs to one of the most well-known business family dynasties in India and Bahl may well be on to creating one.

The two, however, find common ground in their choice of educational institutions.

Both are alumni of the Wharton School, where they chose diverse streams. Goenka chose finance, whereas Bahl picked marketing and operations strategy.
What connects the two is the Kellogg School of Management, where they studied in 2007 and struck up a friendship.
