Here's how Kajol and Karan Johar patched up their broken friendship

It was only this morning that reports hinted at a possible patch up between friends-turned-foes Kajol and Karan Johar. This happy news began doing the rounds after the actress 'liked' Karan's Instagram picture of his twins Yash and Roohi. In return, the director also 'followed' the actress back on the photo sharing platform.

Now, according to a report on Filmfare, it was Kajol who extended the olive branch and decided to let bygones be bygones. The report claims that the alleged patch up happened last week when Kajol extended an invite to KJo to attend her private birthday bash. Karan reportedly turned up for the party where the two hugged it out, kept their differences aside and went back to being friends.

The former BFFs reportedly put an end to their years of friendship when Kajol's husband Ajay Devgn locked horns with Johar at the box office last Diwali. A lot was said and done, but the two never really ran the other down on a public platform, by choosing to stay mum on the topic.
