The former SBI chairperson believes one should take baby steps and create a plan of action when it comes to tensions in one's life.

Here's what Arundhati Bhattacharya, former chairperson of SBI, had to say when she was asked about how she deals with stress:
Stress and tension come with the job. But there are times when things get very stressful and that is when you should take a deep breath and try and imagine the worst situation you could be in — if this is not the worst, you can move on.
I feel that you can't solve everything at one go. You have to take baby steps and create a plan of action.
Look at practical elements that are causing stress; say there are four.
Of those, if you can address one or two, do it and leave number three and four for later.
