Hello, world: Daddy Rohit Sharma shares first picture of baby girl on Twitter

Sharma and his wife welcomed their first baby on Sunday.

Cricketer Rohit Sharma kicked off 2019 with a piece of wonderful news as his wife Ritika Sajdeh gave birth to a baby girl on Sunday. The 31-year-old batsman shared a glimpse of their first bundle of joy on his Twitter handle.

The right-handed-cricketer shared an adorable picture of his daughter and captioned it, “Well hello world! Let’s all have a great 2019.”

Sharma, who scored a half century in the third Test match of the ongoing India VS Australia Test series, returned to Mumbai on Monday to meet his wife and baby. He will not be joining the team for the series-deciding fourth Test in Sydney, but will be back with the team on Tuesday.

Sharma and Sajdeh tied the knot on December 13, 2015.
