Headphones turn air-purifiers: Dyson to launch futuristic audio device this year
Dyson’s first wearable purifier promises pure and high-fidelity audio.

Global household appliances brand, Dyson, has come out with the world’s first air purifying headphones. The Dyson Zone is a set of noise-cancelling, high-fidelity over-ear headphones. The audio device delivers an immersive sound experience along with purified airflow to the nose and mouth.
According to the brand, their latest product is the outcome of over a decade of research and development on air quality. These futuristic headphones not only purify the air but also offers a viable solution to issues such as air quality and noise pollution in cities.

The brand maintains that the Dyson Zone air-purifying headphones combine Dyson’s expertise in airflow, filtration, and motors technologies for over three decades. The Dyson Zone evolved in a span of six years with over 500 prototypes being tested.

Besides, the headphones give a rich and immersive audio experience. The advanced active noise cancelling (ANC) suppresses city noise offering a low distortion and a neutral frequency response.
