Bigg Boss 20 has added a popular name from India’s gaming and esports community to its lineup. Tanmay Singh, better known as ScoutOP or Sc0ut, has entered Salman Khan’s reality show. While he is a familiar face to millions of gaming fans, his entry gives him a chance to reach viewers beyond the esports world.

Scout has built his career around competitive gaming, livestreams and digital content. With millions of followers and a strong presence in India’s gaming community, he is now swapping gaming tournaments for the Bigg Boss house. During his introduction, the show also talked about his popularity and gave viewers a glimpse into his life outside gaming.

Who is ScoutOP aka Tanmay Singh?

Tanmay Singh is an Indian professional esports player, streamer and content creator who is popularly known as ScoutOP. He became a recognisable name during the rise of PUBG Mobile in India and later continued his journey with Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI).


Tanmay began his professional esports career in 2018. His aggressive playing style and shooting skills quickly helped him stand out among other players. As mobile gaming became increasingly popular in India, Scout's name also grew within the competitive gaming scene.

Over the years, he has represented several popular esports teams, including TeamIND, Team SouL, Fnatic and Orange Rock. His association with these teams helped him establish himself as one of the familiar faces of Indian mobile esports.

One of his major achievements came while playing with Orange Rock. The team finished as runners-up at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East, giving Scout an opportunity to compete on an international platform.

Scout's career did not remain limited to competitive gaming. He gradually expanded into content creation, using livestreams, gaming videos, vlogs and other digital content to connect with a much larger audience.

According to his Instagram handle, Scout has around 4.4 million followers on socila media. His YouTube audience is also believed to have crossed five million subscribers, showing the scale of his popularity among gaming and digital entertainment fans.

His success in the gaming space also led him to become associated with Team XSpark. Scout took on a larger role as a co-founder and owner of the organisation. Team XSpark later achieved a major milestone by winning the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) in 2024.

Scout's individual achievements have also included awards such as Gamer of the Year and Fan Favourite Esports Player of the Year.

ScoutOP enters Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 20

With his entry into Bigg Boss 20, Scout is moving into a completely different kind of competition. Instead of playing BGMI or interacting with teammates during an esports match, he will now have to live with other contestants while dealing with tasks, arguments, friendships and the constant presence of cameras.

His introduction also came with support from some of the biggest names in India's digital creator community. Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan and CarryMinati sent special messages for Scout, wishing him luck for his Bigg Boss journey.

Scout also spoke about his success as a digital creator and revealed an interesting detail about his earnings to host Salman Khan. He claimed that he makes around Rs 30 lakh every month through his career.
