Emotions can sometimes get the better of you. For Havells India chairman, Anil Rai Gupta, his expression of excitement often manifests with him falling sick.

The industrialist recently made this revelation during a commencement speech he delivered at his Alma Mater, Wake Forest University, in the US. “When I was a child, before any exciting event, I would catch the flu and guess what? Before coming here, I caught the flu,” he said.

Gupta added, “If I cough during my keynote address, please excuse me and know that I am extremely excited to be amongst all of you,” leaving the audience in splits.
