Have your eyes set on the upcoming iPhone 14? Leaks suggest new Apple device may retain iPhone 13 design

A lot is being said about Apple’s upcoming line-up, the iPhone 14 series. If things go as planned, Apple may introduce its iPhone 14 line-up on September 13. Noted tipster, LeaksApplePro, has hinted that the Cupertino-based tech giant will likely launch the smartphones on the mentioned date. However, a new development has kicked up a storm among Apple fans.

LeaksApplePro in its latest blog post has warned users that Apple is likely to rebadge old components to make iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max models. The tipster had shared the possibility earlier in March.

The development has raised concerns among Apple fans who feel that the tech giant may trick them into thinking that they will get a better deal with the iPhone 14 line-up.


The blog post claims that the iPhone 14 will look identical to the iPhone 13. The writer goes on to say that users will not be able to notice the difference even after keeping the devices next to each other.

"The iPhone 14 will be disappointing for some people in many ways," argues the leaker. "For starters, it will look identical to the iPhone 13. That's right, even if you were to put those devices next to each other, you wouldn't notice the difference unless you went into its settings," read the post.

The blog post also stated that the iPhone 14 will come with an A15 processor with a possibility that it could be rebranded as an A16. However, the only consolation to Apple fans according to the post is that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be priced at USD 799 (about Rs 62,177) and USD 899 (about Rs 69,960) respectively.

In all likelihood, the Pro models in the iPhone 14 line-up will get a new design and massive camera upgrades. The blog stated that the entry-level storage on Pro models would be 256GB unlike the iPhone 13 Pro models starting at 128GB. The recent leaks on designs and specifications of the iPhone 14 seem to have prompted many users to wait or grab the existing iPhone 13.
