The news of actress Soundarya Sharma being selected for a role in ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ has spread like wildfire.
But the news came as a surprise not just for Sharma’s fans, but the actress herself too. The 21-year old actor, who had been receiving best wishes and greetings from near and dear ones for the role, has reportedly not received any confirmation yet.
The ‘Ranchi Diaries’ actress revealed that she had been to New York and appeared for four auditions, ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ being one of them. However, she has not received any confirmation from the makes of Gal Gadot's film yet.
The Delhi actress said that when she read the news of her selection in the superhero film, she was surprised, amazed and confused.
With all the blessings and greetings being showered on her after the news went viral, she has been telling people that the role has not been finalised yet.
She had earlier shared a picture on her Instagram handle in a Wonder Woman costume. But, to her, it seems like people have connected the dots and jumped to the conclusion themselves.
