Impressed by the kid, Goenka could not help but call him a ‘mathematical genius’.

The video opened to the serene banks of the Ganges River in Haridwar, where two youngsters were seen playing a fun game. One boy threw a coconut into the strong currents of the Ganga as it started floating in the river.


Moving with lightning-fast reflexes and calculated precision, the second boy tracked the moving coconut perfectly. Calculating the time, speed and distance of the target, he waited for the right time before tossing a net into the river and, surprisingly, caught the coconut in his net. What seemed like a casual game on the riverbanks was actually a masterclass in physics and anticipation.


Praising the boy’s mind-boggling speed, precision, and flawless timing, Harsh Goenka captioned the post, ‘This young boy is a mathematical genius.’ Social media users were also left in awe. ‘What a catch, boy in that current. Absolutely so meticulously calculative judgement he got. Practice and dedication make anyone achieve perfection,’ praised an individual. ‘Good instincts. A life in intelligence is his calling,’ noted another. ‘He's brilliant at calculations, but honestly, I think he's more into physics than anything else,’ pointed out a person.

Different story, big lesson

This is not the first time that Harsh Goenka has shared such an interesting story of a youngster. Previously, the billoanire dropped a write-up on X, featuring a child’s honest answer to the question: what does he want to become when he grows up. While most children dream of becoming doctors, engineers, athletes, or artists, one young student gave a surprisingly refreshing answer.

The child revealed that his ultimate aspiration was to become a senior citizen, beautifully breaking down his reasoning through the lens of his grandfather’s daily routine. To him, old age seemed like paradise because his grandfather gets to wake up late, enjoy afternoon naps, and is entirely free from homework and tuition classes. Instead, his days are filled with playing chess in the park, watching television at will, and living life entirely at his own pace.
